Featuring: PillCam™ ESO
About the size of a large vitamin pill, has two miniature color video cameras, one on each end, along with lights, battery, and transmitter. The PillCam ESO is swallowed with a sip of water and transmits about 2,600 color video images of the esophagus (14 frames per second) to a recorder outside the body. In about 20 minutes, a doctor has enough images from this new non-invasive alternative to traditional endoscopy to help diagnose and evaluate diseases of the esophagus.
